Loving The One

Welcome to the community site, Loving the One.

Every day individuals such as Hyacinth Carol and Wayne Warrington are finding their paths crossing in very unique and wonderful ways.

"We have never met in person, however we found each other through our relationship with God and have been called to help unite God's children in a very special way and with a very simple message. That message is, Loving the One."

Loving the One is our belief of what Jesus was saying when responding to the question "What is the most important commandment." And Jesus replied, "Love the Lord Your God with all Your Heart, Your Soul and Your Mind."   This is the first and greatest commandment and can be found over 30 times in the Bible. The second commandment is similar and extremely important, Love your neighbor as yourself.'

Can you imagine our world if we just followed these two commandments?

We believe, we are being called to unite God's children through the practice of these two commandments and it is through these efforts, that nonbelievers will question their faith, learn to lead and walk by faith.

Unity of God’s children seem to be a relatively simple quest. However as we sought to unite God’s children through community churches, we discovered some religious leaders have a fear of loosing their members and refuse to engage in God’s ultimate plan, unity. This segregation is a huge obstacle in the mission that God has called us to do.  In many cases, it is the restrictive walls and judgment within a church that drives church believers and nonbelievers away.

We firmly believe that the traditional church body is one which serves all of God’s children in their time of need and should support personal relationships with God and is not limited to one day a week. The road to love is a fulltime effort and it is crucial that God’s army unites and only then will be powerful beyond measure. Our strength comes from Him and as we gather together; whether in person, in prayer or in spirit. Whether in our homes, our community church, a coffee shop, online or elsewhere. To think otherwise places limits on His presence in our lives, which is impossible for God is omnipresent and His love never ending.

Matthew 22:37
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

1 Corinthians 13
Love Is the Greatest

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless.

When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
